Barber

  • Auckland, New Zealand
  • $26 - $30 per hour
Job Description:

  • Cutting hair with scissors, clippers and razors

  • Performing hairstyles and hair treatment

  • Shampooing and conditioning hair and scalps

  • Providing advice on hair and beards care, and beauty products

  • Shaving and trimming beards and moustaches

  • Cleaning work areas and sanitising instruments

  • Arranging appointments and collecting payments

  • Presenting our beauty products to the customers

Requirements:
  • At least one year experience as a hairdresser and/or barber
  • Relevant qualification would be an advantage
  • Be comfortable with clipper, cut throat razor, scissors, beard trimming, beard shaping with cut (throat razor), skin fade, razor fade, hot towel.
  • Passionate about a career in hairdressing
  • Well-groomed and well-presented
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Have a friendly and positive personality
  • Good communication skills
  • Be able to pass a drug test. Non-Smoker
  • Have full-time open work permit in New Zealand
